RGE certification

Become RGE certified in France

RGE stands for Reconnu Garant de l’Environnement. It is the label French clients look for, because it gives them access to state aid for their energy renovation work.

Why it matters

What the RGE label changes for you

  • Your clients get their aid

MaPrimeRénov’, energy saving certificates (CEE) and the zero-interest eco-loan are tied to work carried out by an RGE company.

  • You can quote on more jobs

Without the label, most subsidised renovation projects stay out of reach.

  • You are easier to find

RGE companies are listed in the official France Rénov’ directory that homeowners use to choose a contractor.

The process

From first call to certificate

  1. Choose the qualification

We match your trades to the right label and the organisation that delivers it.

  2. Train your technical lead

Each qualification asks for a trained person in the company. We point you to approved training.

  3. Build the application

Company documents, insurance certificates, job references: we assemble the file and check it before it goes out.

  4. Pass the site audit

The organisation inspects one of your completed jobs. We help you get ready for it.
